Re: UP dumble for sale
For those named in the reply from the"seller" of the amp this may be of interest, i was one of the lucky ones that he tried to rip of and got my money back via Amex online as i had paid through paypal. Uh last time I checked he was working with Taylor and Jelle I heard he lives in Boston and by loo...

Re: Impedance selector switch
Putting a slide switch in could certainly increase the possibilities of two of the secondary windings touching together. Bad news bears.
There is a very good reason you don't see slide switches on any amplifier's impedance switch. Especially in a Dumble. Break before make or otherwise.

Grid bias question for blues junior III
Hey guys. I want to install an actual bias adjustment on my Blues Junior. I am assuming Remove R51 and R52, replace with a 50K trimmer - wiper to C- and the outside terminals to ~20v and ground? If someone can tell me another way to do this, or if I am correct in my assumption, I would greatly appre...

Re: Are the Dumble SSS and the Fender Dual Showman Reverb ..
Are they at all related? Simply put, no.
Can a Dual Showman Reverb be modded to be a SSS? Yes, but you will have more luck just building one from scratch.

JM Sig 50 watt build with a hum issue
I decided to take a stab at my own take on JM Sig schematic by Aaron and am having an issue with hum that have had me stumped for over a week. I built a 50 watt 6l6 version. The goal was to get the plates around 425 so I can use 6v6 as well. Any help from fellow TAGers who have built from this schem...

Re: Dropping secondary voltage for 6v6 range
Choke Input sounds ideal, but what choke to get? Something like a 10h 200ma?

Dropping secondary voltage for 6v6 range
I have a transformer I want to use for a 6v6 build but I am afraid my voltages will be off. The transformer is a weber w022798. I see 120/125v primary and 330-0-330 sec taps. Trick is I want to use a SS recto as I plan to use the 5v tap for relays. My math has me around 450-465v on the plates with t...

Re: Classictone Power Transformer question
Hey folks. I'm finishing up my Ceriatone OTS HRM and I'm trying to figure out which wire goes to which output tube. Here is the wiring diagram for the transformer. http://www.classictone.net/40-18009.pdf Is there any way to tell other than hooking it up and seeing if it squeals? Thanks. Brown and B...

ods chassis template?
Hi everyone. I ordered a blank chassis and want to drill it just like a dumble ods. I have searched here and the files section with no luck. I am a little surprised there is not a sticky for something like this. Can anyone help me out on this one?

Re: dumble type presence on a fender
If you inplement the dumble skyline presence in a Fender you should change the 820 to a 4700 (or 3200) if you are using the 390 tail resistor otherwise you will seriously limit the gain of the output stage. It is all about the ratio of the two resistors. Try to maintain the 8.2 ratio of the origina...

did you end up using the 820 ohm or did you beef up to the 4k7?ic-racer wrote:I implemented a Dumble style presence on my Fender Super Twin Reverb conversion as shown in this schematic.

Re: dumble type presence on a fender
yes, global nfb for a 763 fender deluxe. do I need to make any other changes aside from simply switching the output transformer leads? grid stoppers look to be bigger on the dumbel for example. 1k5 vs. 3k3/5k1. for boldaslove: the grids on the first stage of the reverb are shared so I am not sure wh...
