Re: "A box later" Dumble
Update, update. I posed a question to Josh @ JHS asking to clarify the various marketing material indicating that the NOTADUMBLE is suggesting it's a exact replica (his words) of the Dumble A Box Later. I carefully presented the case that some things aren't lining up based on the gut shots Gil prov...

Re: "A box later" Dumble
Yup! I have been very slow proving out the v2 design (too slow, I guess!) and it works better than I thought! I'm trying to wait until the tariffs cool off before ordering v2 boards from JLCPCB but grabbing onto this momentum might make the investment worth while... I thought tarifs will affect thi...

Re: "A box later" Dumble
Somebody needs to buy the new JHS NOTADUMBLE and trace the "A box later" side of the circuit. Apparently JHS traced Mayer's original unit :D That's the plan here :-) It's kinda funny, if you watch the video ( https://youtu.be/n9wNpgWJhYo?si=8whdWRmtI36zh45J&t=210 ), a few things stand out to me. Th...

Re: ODS Filtering Question
FWIW those German TAD caps are nice in fender-based circuits. To me they sound different from most caps out there, but resemble the older american mallory filter caps Perfect values for my Dumble build, too. I already reordered a set. I won't open them of course, but I'm hoping for equally close to...

Re: Guitar Amp Wiring and Lead Dress
Yeah, its a treasure. I did my own layout for the #124 and since I cannot go "monkey see, monkey do", and I still want a quiet amp, I will be studying this a lot. Thank you R.G., for decades of great resources

Re: Amp Nation D/ODS Style Chassis, Boards, Cabinets - IN STOCK - Reserve your spot now!
I can do a layout for that. I'm happy to pay back to the communityamplifiednation wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 11:48 am You got a layout?
Email me info sales@amplifiednation.com
If there is enough interest I could do it but would need some documentation released so I'm not responsible for getting amps to work![]()

Re: The #124 build
While we there, Switchcraft 12A good for the fx loop and speaker outs? Whey aren't the stereo type, right? I will be using 13E for the FET 13E works fine for the FET, in the TAG eyelet board schematic the connections are consistent with 14B See: https://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=104228#p1...
