Starting point for new build
I figured it was time to build something that was D inspired but i don't really know where to start. I really enjoy Robben Ford's tones but i will be playing single coils 90% of the time. Any suggestions as what circuits would sound best with single coils? Thanks, JMac

Bassman blowing fuses all of a sudden
My Bassman started blowing fuses for some reason yesterday. I played it with no problems Monday and Tuesday and yesterday it started blowing fuses. I was banging out some power chords and it just dies. I replaced the fuse and went back to the power cords and it died again. I replaced the fuse again ...

Re: Deluxe AB763 build advice please -minus reverb and vib
There's a useful mod that Dave Funk used to do: you take V1 and wire the second triode as a direct coupled cathode follower (like on a blonde Bassman) and feed the tone stack and volume from there. For tone recovery, you swipe half of V3 (which won't bother you since you don't wan...

Re: Carmen Ghia schematic/layout?
I don't personally get the Dr.Z thing. I've never heard one that I liked and wouldn't waste my time building one. Allynmey
i don't really get it either. i had a MAZ Sr. for about 2 weeks. very nice amp. i took a look under the hood and i didn't see anything that i hadn't seen before. but it ...
