Re: Mesa Boogie Good Deal?
Also another amp that really interests me is the Marshall JTM 30. I heard it's very versatile & sounds amazing, the only downside was reliability. Apparently they tend to overheat. Which is nothing a mod can't fix. What are your guy's thoughts on this amp? they are great if u want a classic rock so...

I also love the JCM800s, but I can't find any of the JCM800 heads with more than 3 filter caps. Which is just not enough for a 100 watt head, IMO. I have an '83 2203, which has six 50/50uF cap cans. While it's true that the later models ('84 or '85 and onward) have fewer cans, they have the same am...

Would a good analog overdrive or distortion pedal work well with this amp for higher gain tone? My DC does,...

Mesa Boogie Good Deal?
Hey, I was looking for a good tube amp for gigging & recording. I've played mostly the traditional amps like Fenders & Marshalls. But this amp got my attention. So is this a good amp, & for that price? http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/msg/2725824565.html It's a 60 watt Mark IIb combo.
