Thanks for the links and tips. Now I know what I am dealing with. It wouldn't be a gigging amp for me, but now I definitely want to see what it will do.

9 pins it is
The tubes have 9 pins. The tubes themselves have the printing partially worn off. The chassis has 7068 written on it in pencil. I guess the previous owner tried to write the names on the chassis and messed up. The amp is named Sound. It has 4- 12ax7s , 1-12au7, and 2-7868. It has trem, and reverb co...

7068 power tubes?
I picked up an old USA made guitar amp (sound). It has 2x 7068 power tubes. I would like to convert it to a more common type (6v6, el84, 6l6). I want to use the transformers that are in it. Which power tube would be the closest match. The 7068's have the skinny pins in big tube. Do 7068's have any r...
