"From my experience," 1k resistors are protocol to go into your A-typical light emitting diodes ( at least in all the pedals I have made). What you need to figure out is how the inside of your switch works. is it single pole single throw (SPST)? double pole double throw (DPDT)? or triple pole double...

Modding an old peavey amp
I have a Peavey 400BH being used for bass. The limiter in it seems to ruin some of the qualities that I really want to get out of it. Therefore, I want to bypass the limiter. I am not really sure where the limiting is happening. What should I jump/short out? schem: ( the second post in this thread )...
